Copenhagen 11. December 2003

Dear Mr/Mrs. Ambassador

USA, Polen, Italy, Japan, Holland, England and Spain

On behalf of the Iraqi Archive in Denmark and all free Iraqis’, we would like to express our deepest thanks to you and your country, for your country’s participation in the combating of Saddam Hussein’s dictatorship in Iraq. Your country’s participation in the war has liberated the Iraqi people from many sorrows and a constant fear of torture caused by Saddam Hussein and his people.

This regime which did all in its power to present the Iraqi people as bad and unintelligent people has finally capitulated; the Iraqi people are now to try and forget the horrors and begin a whole new life based on democracy and freedom.

In this writing moment, after Saddam Hussein’s dictatorship, the Iraqi people are hoping and waiting for assistance and a helping hand in rebuilding a new democratic Iraq. We and the Iraqi people are hoping that the World Community perceives the very first civilisation in the world as important and valuable enough to rebuild and make a wonderful part of the world again, which is able to contribute to the global development.

Further, we would like to give our deepest thanks to your country’s participation in rebuilding Iraq, for that we are very grateful.

Our deepest thanks and regards
